Where were you born and raised?
West Chester, PA, it’s a suburb outside of Philadelphia, PA. I love it here! I am close to all major cities, (NYC, Philly, Baltimore, DC, etc.) the beach and to farming areas. It’s a nice mix. I enjoy being able to experience it all while still being able to have some peace and quiet out here.

Growing up were there any people that influenced your decision on getting a tattoo?
Absolutely, everyone I’ve met in life has influenced me in some way and I love that. But, growing up I was never really surrounded by many people who had tattoos … I was always completely infatuated with the beautiful and exotic girls that I’d see in tattoo magazines. They represented fearless, self expression to me.

What made you decide to get your first one?
I had been dying for so long to get one, and dreamt about it for years. At 16, I was finally able to drive and officially venture out on my own. F the world … I asked my boyfriend at the time to draw up some evil looking bat wings; that’d be my first tattoo. Huge and painful, I thought I’d never do it again. I study psychology a bit, and after some thinking I believe that perhaps I loved the idea of getting tattooed. While you can’t always change what is going on inside of you and your life; you can always change what’s going on outside. It was, and still is, relieving.

Do you have a favorite tattoo, and does it have a meaning behind it?
Right now, it has to be the broken butterfly on my right, lower forearm. At first, I wanted to get something really pretty there, flowers or something, in consideration of my future. I have a normal corporate job, and didn’t want to have too many questions asked. But, I ended up going with something that was much more me. It’s a blue butterfly that is being ripped in half and is laying in a puddle of blood. I feel like it’s much more beautiful than any flower and better suits me. I guess this one can be open to interpretation, and am still interpreting it myself.

How did you get into modeling?
I can’t remember exactly, but I believe I mostly got into it from going out to goth/industrial clubs when I was younger. I was able to network with a lot of photographers and just sort of fell into it.  It’s a lot of fun, I love the people that I meet through it, and of course I love taking fun, sexy pictures. Traveling is always a bonus too.

What or who are you’re inspirations?
Nothing has inspired me more in life than the people who told me, “you can’t”. Especially when it comes to how I look. This has made me work so much harder to go above and beyond any expectations of me failing. The greatest thing I have ever learned was to always look at every person/experience with a positive mind. Even in the darkest of days and under the most miserable circumstances; you can find a lesson to learn.

What projects are you currently working on?
Right now, things are sort of on hold! At least until the end of this month/season when time gets a bit more abundant. Then I’ll have a lot of great things in the works.
