Where were you born and raised?
Born: Dallas, TX
Raised: San Antonio, TX

Growing up were there any people that influenced your decision on getting a tattoo?
No. I was always into art and creative writing, but it wasn’t until I left my hometown that I really defined myself and realized I wanted art on my body forever.

What made you decide to get your first one?
It was an impulse decision like many others would say. At the time, I was traveling a lot and seeing the world with fresh eyes. I wanted to have something to remind me of my youth as I was transitioning into a woman. It was a beautiful tattoo, but as time progressed I realized letting go of the past was a necessary step in my own personal growth.

Do you have a favorite tattoo, and does it have a meaning behind it?
My forearms have my favorite symbolism from the movie “Blade Runner.” Instead of sleeves, I chose lady gloves. The design is original artwork by Thomas Hooper both him & I agreed that there is something wildly atheistic about old Hollywood glamour combined with modern tattoo art.

How did you get into modeling?
I saved up some safety money from my 9-5 and took a leap of faith. I wanted to be the change I wanted to see. That is, to see women with ink in the world of high fashion. I became Austin’s first heavily tattooed fashion blogger and I moved forward with my dreams with vigor. In 2 years, I have grown immensely and the changes I have made are why I am the happiest I’ve ever been in my life.

What or who are you’re inspirations?
People, nature, art, fashion, music, animals, cinema, design, social media, and darkness inspire me daily. There is beauty in it all and even darkness teaches you to love.

What projects are you currently working on?
This week I will be traveling to Miami for work. I will be shooting with several of the city’s most prestigious photographers. I will also be attending the “Gathering of the Giants” tattoo convention where Zack Singer will be adding ‘Rachel’ to complete my Blade Runner theme lady gloves.
