Where were you born and raised?
I was born on a small island on the east coast of Canada called Cape Breton, but I mostly grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Growing up were there any people that influenced your decision on getting a tattoo?
No one in particular influenced my decision to get tattooed. I worked at a shop in Halifax for a bit and started to get heavily tattooed during that time! Once I moved to Toronto, Ontario I then took the plunge and started getting more visible work done like my neck and hands.
What made you decide to get your first one?
I was in love with girls from Godsgirls and Suicide Girls. Before I was 18 I wanted to be a Suicide Girl and I started to get tattoos. I have no interest now in doing that type of modeling but it got me into tattoos when I was younger.
Do you have a favorite tattoo, and does it have a meaning behind it?
Most of my tattoos were a favorite at one time. A lot of my tattoos have no meaning, I’m more into the art side of it and I don’t actually have the patience to think up a meaning for the tattoos I want to get!
How did you get into modeling?
I did a little bit of modeling when I was 15-16 years old, once I was 18 I had a few friends from back home in Halifax who did a few shoots and it made me want to try it. I booked a few shoots and got more seriously into it once I got my first magazine cover!
What or who are you’re inspirations?
I get a lot of my inspiration from models I have been following for years! I’m in love with Kristen Leanne, love Lusy Logan, Alysha Nett! They are all amazing models with such different styles and I enjoy looking at their work!
What projects are you currently working on?
Currently I’m focusing on furthering my career with publications and getting my name out there more. Soon I’ll have to put together a website and I guess I’ll see what happens from there.
