Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Iowa then moved to Lincoln, NE when I was 15.

Growing up were there any people that influenced your decision on getting a tattoo?
Nope, I had no one.  In fact I didn’t even like tattoos at all growing up. My idea of a tattoo was something that was stuck on you, and most likely it was a rose with thorns or barbed wire; that is just not my style. You also have to understand that my childhood was living in small town in Iowa of 10,000 people.

What made you decide to get your first one?
I was about 23 years old and I was dating a guy who was getting a sleeve done. I would go with him to his appointments and I started seeing that a tattoo didn’t have to be a “tattoo” but a work of art; a form of expression that I needed. That’s when my whole way of thinking about tattoos changed and my brain started spinning. I needed mural.  So that’s when I got my first tattoo. My back piece.

Do you have a favorite tattoo, and does it have a meaning behind it?
They are all my favorite because each one does have meaning or inspiration behind it.

How did you get into modeling?
A girl who was in the tattoo industry saw a post that InkAddict was doing a model search for their apparel line. She told me I should submit to it, so I did, and they chose me as one of their models.

What or who are you’re inspirations?
Many things inspire me. I just can’t pinpoint what or who. Everyone/everything plays a small part.

What projects are you currently working on?
Personally:  I’m really busy in my salon right now.  I also go to school part-time for Graphic Design.  I recently joined Mary Kay as a consultant along with being involved with Ava Anderson products.

Tattoos: I have started my first and hopefully my only cover-up on my right leg. I thought I needed a matching tattoo with a friend at the time to commemorate my birthday and needless to say that was a horrible idea.

Photo shoots: I want to set up a few more shoots before the end of the year.. the struggle is finding the time. The only one I have officially on the books is with No Regrets Photography. I’m meeting her in KC for her Creep Show Tour in November.
