Where were you born and raised?
San Luis Obispo, California
Growing up were there any people that influenced your decision on getting a tattoo?
I had a pretty eclectic childhood and although neither one of my parents had tattoos, I was def around a lot of free spirits and punk rock culture. I always thought they looked cool, and being an artist, it only seemed natural that I wanted to be covered in art.
What made you decide to get your first one?
Opportunity. Haha! I had actually held off on getting tattoos because of the type of modeling I was doing at the time, so once I stopped….I said, “fuck it.”
Do you have a favorite tattoo, and does it have a meaning behind it?
My favorite? That’s hard. I guess I would say my thigh piece done by Keith Duggan. It’s a wolf head, baring its teeth, with a third eye, and a banner with the words, “wolves don’t lose sleep over the opinion of sheep.” There is also an awesome jeweled mandala involved, with an ohm symbol in one of the stones. It came out beautifully and the meaning is pretty self explanatory.
How did you get into modeling?
I’ve actually modeled off and on since I was a kid. I got approached on the street when I was in grade school, and continued to model over the years. I never did any alternative modeling and had actually stopped modeling altogether, years ago but the more heavily tattooed I became the more I was approached about it. So here I am! Lol.
What or who are you’re inspirations?
I’m always drawn to people who are unapologetically themselves. People who know who they are and stand up for what they believe in. People who consistantly try to better themselves yet don’t beat themself up if they get off track. People who look a challenge dead in the eye and give it a wink. People that like that always inspire me.
What projects are you currently working on?
I’m currently trying to lose weight while sitting on the couch eating donuts. I’ll keep you posted.
