Where were you born and raised?
I was born and raised in Texas. I was always the girly girl growing up. My mom would dress me up in lacey dresses and I would put on fashion shows for her with all of my outfits. Growing up I always wanted to be a model.

Growing up were there any people that influenced your decision on getting a tattoo?
I was actually kicked out of my family home because of my first tattoo. On my 18th birthday, I knew I wanted a tattoo. I got it somewhere under my clothes that wouldn’t be seen easily. When my family found out they were very against tattoos, but the tattoos I got were always for me, and eventually they accepted the tattoos.

What made you decide to get your first one?
I always loved the way tattoos looked on skin. I liked the idea of expressing yourself and showcasing yourself. I always felt very invisible growing up, and liked the idea of being able to show who I am to the world. Once I saw a design I liked I took it to an artist and had him create an image.

Do you have a favorite tattoo, and does it have a meaning behind it?
My favorite tattoo is the angel wing tattoo I have under my right breast. It’s my smallest, and newest piece. When Sons of Anarchy was on air I watched it religiously. I loved the show. I joined a few fan clubs online for SOA and Charlie Hunnam. One of the clubs I was in became more than just an online club. The women in the group are some of the most amazing women I’ve ever been lucky enough to meet. So many different women from every walk of life, suffering through, and celebrating life in their own way. Every woman has a unique story to tell. One of the women drew the design and brought up the idea of all the members getting this tattoo. Every time I look down at this tattoo I am inspired by these amazing women.

How did you get into modeling?
I had a friend start doing photography. She told me I needed to be a model. I was just the geeky girl in school with hardly any friends and bad fashion sense. I joined Model Mayhem, and one year later I was shooting my first Playboy set.

What or who are you’re inspirations?
I’m inspired by the struggle. I’m inspired by my parent’s that failed to provide a life for me. I’m inspired to be a better person. I am inspired by creating art. The whole process gives me life. I work hard to build a brand that I and other women can be proud of and find inspiration in.

What projects are you currently working on?
I am currently in New Hampshire shooting for Signature Models. I am working with ATX Bikini Company to launch their new Celebrity collection with my own swimsuit designs. I am working to create amazing sets for my own website www.officialelizabethmarxs.com. I am working on the launch of my own lingerie company. I’m working on a music project called SYX. I am constantly working to build a better brand, and will even be launching a new storefront with merchandise.
